I am an adult ESOL instructor. I also tutor adult ESL students. I love to learn as much from my students as they teach to me. More recently, I have also begun to tutor college students in English.

Hobbies
My hobbies and interests include relaxing with my husband and son at home or hiking and camping in the White Mountains. We also ride our bikes and play at the local park. When I need to relax, I like to retreat to my arts and crafts room where I sew, paint, or just read books. I have reupholstered furniture, created oil paintings that hang in our house, and have created curtains for the house. Basically, creativity just relaxes me. If I haven't stressed it yet, I love to learn. So when I find something that interests me, I tend to study it until I understand it. For example, when I wanted to know more about how to prepare my own taxes, I took it upon myself to become hired as a tax school instructor. The experience was intense, but exhilarating. I taught myself, and then worked as an instructor for a local company, teaching adults tax laws and regulations so that they too could take and pass a tax preparer certification exam.
